QR creation happens in your browser
Scan Dandy generates static QR codes in your browser. Your QR content and uploaded centre-logo images are processed locally by the application and are not sent to Scan Dandy for QR generation.
Saved designs
If you save a design, it is stored in your browser's local storage. You can erase it using My projects, or by clearing browser storage. The backup feature creates a file that you control; restoring a backup reads the file on your device.
Hosting and request information
Scan Dandy is served using Cloudflare. As with most websites, the hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP addresses, user-agent information and access/security logs to deliver and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This version of Scan Dandy does not include third-party advertising or website analytics scripts. If those services are introduced in the future, this policy and any applicable consent mechanism should be updated first.
External destinations
A QR code you create may link to another website or service. When someone scans it, that destination's own policies apply. Scan Dandy does not operate or control third-party destinations.
Questions
For questions about Scan Dandy's privacy practices, contact the website operator through the public contact channel they provide. Email support@scandandy.com with questions or feedback.
Optional PayPal support
If you download a QR code, you may choose to support Scan Dandy. PayPal checkout scripts load only when you select one-time or monthly support. The PayPal button may display on this page and open PayPal checkout. PayPal may process information, including your IP address and browser details, under its own terms and privacy policy. Scan Dandy does not collect or store payment card details or independently verify checkout results.
